Who runs Reel Parliament, and how it pays for itself
A small editorial site with one job: comparing UK-licensed casino brands honestly enough that a reader can disagree with us and still find the page useful.

What this site is
Reel Parliament is an independent comparison site for casino brands licensed to operate in Great Britain. We are not an operator. We are not a regulator, and we have no connection to the Gambling Commission beyond reading its rules and its register. No brand on this site owns any part of it, and none of them see a scorecard before it goes live.
We don't run games, hold accounts, accept stakes or handle money of any kind. Everything on the site is review and comparison; when you decide to sign up, you leave here and do that with the operator.
How the money works
Affiliate commission pays for the site. If you follow a link from one of our scorecards and open an account, the operator may pay us — sometimes a one-off fee, sometimes a share of their revenue from that account. You pay nothing extra either way, and the games cost the same whether you arrive through us or type the address yourself.
The obvious question is whether that changes what we write. Our answer is structural rather than sentimental: we publish the eight criteria, we define every verdict word, and we keep the reasoning visible so you can check the conclusion against the evidence. The full disclosure sets out the arrangement, including what happens when an operator asks us to change something.
Working method
How a scorecard gets written
The order never changes, which is the only reason five brands can be compared at all.

The licence first
Before anything else, the operator's entry on the Gambling Commission register: status, activities, trading names. If the entry doesn't cover casino games for Great Britain, there's nothing to review.

The phone, then the desktop
Registration flow, lobby, search, live tables and the account tools, on a handset in portrait first. Desktop is the second pass, because it flatters almost everything.

The app, if there is one
Whether an app exists, whether it carries the same games as the website, and whether it behaves like software or like a website in a frame.

The boring screens
Deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion: how many taps away, and whether anything tries to talk you out of them.

The single verdict word comes last, after the eight rows are filled in. Doing it the other way round is how a comparison site ends up reverse-engineering its own conclusions.
Who this site is for, and who it isn't
It's for someone deciding between a handful of UK casino brands who wants to know what the products are actually like: how deep the lobby goes, whether the app is worth the storage, where the live tables live, how quickly limits can be set.
It isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a way around a GamStop exclusion, this is the wrong site, and this page is the right one. If you're trying to win back money you've lost, no comparison of lobbies will help — the house edge is in every game on every one of these sites. And if what you need is a payout-speed table, we don't publish one: those arrangements change without notice and the operator's own terms are the only source worth trusting.
About the name
A parliament is a room where things get argued out and a decision gets recorded; reels are what most of these lobbies are built on. That's the whole joke, and it describes the format better than a slogan would: five brands, one set of criteria, verdicts written down where you can check them.
Corrections
Operators change their products constantly — an app gets rebuilt, a live section moves, an offer type changes shape. When something here goes stale we'd rather hear it than defend it. Send a correction with a link and we'll check it against the live site.
